I have, I think, mentioned before what a big fan of Sarah Lin’s series Street Cultivation I am. (Really, of all her stuff, but especially Street Cultivation and The Brightest Shadow, which I actually got to beta read.)
If you haven’t encountered Street Cultivation before, it’s a xianxia/wuxia inspired cultivation series similar to Will Wight’s Cradle, only set in a modern day world, with greedy corporations, run-down strip malls, and predatory student loans. It’s an absolute blast, I can’t recommend it enough.
Street Cultivation 2 just came out, and it’s a fantastic followup to the first book. (I got to read it early, since I back Sarah Lin’s Patreon.) You should definitely check it out! (Or the first book, if you haven’t read that yet.)
