I’m mostly recovered from DragonCon, so got a few random news items for y’all today!
First up, the Mage Errant pre-order bonus is still running! You can get an exclusive Mage Errant short story with each pre-order of the new Mage Errant hardcover release, details HERE. Mage Errant Volume 1 is out on bookstores in the US on September 29th!
Next, I finally took the plunge and made an Instagram! Yay, social media! I’m sure it will be great for my time and mental health!
As a bit of minor admin, if you signed up for my mailing list during August, there is a good chance you’re no longer on the list. I had a massive influx of spam signups that month I had to clean up, and there’s a chance that any legitimate signups may have gotten deleted, too. So if you did sign up in August, you should sign up again, just in case! (And I instituted anti-spam measures that should help in the future!)
Finally, and most importantly, a huge thank you to each of you who came to say hello to me at DragonCon! I think, up until now, that I was afraid that my mom had secretly learned to use a computer and that my whole fandom was actually just her, so I’m glad to know that y’all actually exist! (Or at least some of you, hah!) I had a wonderful time chatting with folks, and had nothing but positive experiences. (Special thanks to the fan who brought me Mage Errant stickers, they were super handy! Also to the fan who found me right after my Saturday mentoring sessions! Everyone else was awesome, too, of course!) I can’t wait to meet more folks on the book tour later this month! I’m having anxiety about how many exclamation points I’m using in this paragraph! But seriously, I feel so lucky to have such cool readers.
